Our Mission

CityIntel’s mission is to enhance public and private situational awareness by delivering timely, data-driven insights on protests, demonstrations, and civic events across the globe. We aim to provide stakeholders with accurate, actionable information to support informed decision-making, operational readiness, and community safety.

What We Do

CityIntel aggregates and analyzes open-source and partner-provided event data to identify emerging protest activity, forecast potential disruptions, and monitor associated risks. Using advanced filtering and contextual analysis, our platform provides a unified view of global protest trends — enabling real-time visibility into civic movements and regional patterns.

  • Live aggregation of protest and civic event data
  • Geospatial heatmaps and risk segmentation by severity
  • Predictive analytics for event escalation likelihood
  • Dynamic dashboards for operational monitoring

Platform Overview

CityIntel is an operational intelligence platform for security, duty-of-care, and risk teams. It surfaces live incident alerts, structured event data, and organisation-specific exposure across assets and travellers — all in one interface built for fast triage and informed response.

What you get

  • Live feed + incident drilldowns — Real-time items with context, sources, and time-windowed relevance filtering.
  • Alerts & forecasts — Structured events data, risk tiers, and upcoming windows for planning.
  • Asset & traveller exposure — Optional inputs to understand "who/what is near" and to prioritise response.
  • Training platform — Scenario injection, sequencing, operator scoring, and session debrief for team readiness.
  • Panic Alarm — A simple activation flow for staff; supports shared use via invite code.

Best-fit use cases: Corporate security & GSOC dashboards, duty-of-care monitoring, event risk planning, executive travel support, and incident comms triage.

How It Works

CityIntel surfaces items across a live feed and structured alerts. Items are grouped and de-duplicated to reduce noise. Filtering focuses on incident-likely content and keeps relevance scoped to a time window.

  • Signal first: prioritise disruption, protest activity, transport impacts, violence, evacuations, closures.
  • Context next: show related items, locations, and nearby assets/travellers.
  • Action last: analysts can escalate, brief, and share links or reports.

Page Guide

A quick breakdown of the main areas your team will use day-to-day.

  • Dashboard — Global risk summary, exposure map with assets and travellers overlaid, live alert strip.
  • Live Alerts — Real-time feeds by city/region with incident detail panel, queue management, and map view.
  • High Risk Events — Structured protest and unrest data with risk tiers and analyst notes.
  • All Events — Higher-level event tracking, timelines, and multi-day incident history.
  • Intelligence Brief — Structured analytical reporting with priority brief, regional summaries, and escalation outlook.
  • Reports — Report library, draft builder, and PDF/export outputs for stakeholder sharing.
  • Trends & Forecasts — Longer-window risk patterns and geographic trend analysis for planning.
  • Assets — Maintain offices and sites with coordinates; automatically matched to live incidents.
  • Travellers — Maintain traveller itineraries; overlaid on the map and matched to incidents by proximity.
  • Training Scenarios — Inject controlled training alerts into the operator feed for team readiness exercises.
  • Neighborhood Intel — Location-scoped SOC feed for observations and movement reporting.
  • Sources — Data provider information and source reliability tiers.

Onboarding Checklist

  • Confirm org name and admin users.
  • Add key locations (HQ, sites, high-value venues) into Assets.
  • Add travellers or travel policy scope.
  • Configure live alert feeds for your primary regions.
  • Set Panic Alarm invite code and define who should respond.
  • Run a training scenario session to validate operator readiness.

Privacy & Security

CityIntel is designed for operational awareness. Keep messages brief and avoid storing highly sensitive personal data.

  • Role gating: admin-only areas (analytics, operations log) are separated from general operator views.
  • Least sensitive by default: the Panic flow can store location as text-only with no precise coordinates.
  • Audit readiness: event logging and organisational controls are available for compliance needs.
